Childish Games

Mario, a somewhat unreliable novelist, unexpectedly visits the school where Daniel teaches, stirring up memories of a past he thought was long forgotten. The two men, who shared a childhood bond akin to brotherhood, never saw their families unite due to a missed marriage between Daniel’s father and Mario’s mother. This sudden meeting reignites old connections between their families. Following Mario’s tragic suicide, Daniel and his wife, Laura, take in his orphaned daughter. Although Laura, who has always longed for a child, bonds with the girl instantly, Daniel finds himself growing more uneasy around her. His unresolved guilt from the past haunts him relentlessly, leading to a tense confrontation in the mountains.
