Christmas Oranges

In a quaint town not far off, a baby named Rose is found on the steps of Greenwoods Orphanage. Here, under the loving care of Mrs. Hartley (Nancy Stafford) and fellow children, she finds a unique sense of family. However, following a tragic event, Rose (Bailee Johnson) is forced to leave her cherished home and move to Irongates, a stark and cold institution compared to Greenwoods. Mr. Crampton (Edward Herrmann), the stern headmaster, harbors an immediate dislike for Rose, ensuring she and the other children face consequences for even the slightest rule breaks. Amidst this harsh environment, Rose befriends Emily, yet she encounters trouble instigated by some envious children despite her kind-hearted demeanor. Discovering that Mr. Crampton’s benevolent brother traditionally gifts oranges to the children every Christmas, Rose eagerly awaits this small but meaningful gesture.
