Cocaine Godmother

At just 17, Griselda Blanco traveled to the U.S. using a forged passport alongside her first husband, Carlos. Residing in Queens with her three sons, she found the allure of wealth in the drug trade irresistible and swiftly got involved with nearby traffickers. Griselda ingeniously devised methods to use unsuspecting individuals—such as attractive women, the elderly, and even children—as drug carriers, and developed innovative false-bottomed suitcases for transporting cocaine from Colombia.
