Cremaster 1

Cremaster 1 (1996) unfolds as a musical extravaganza set on the vivid blue Astroturf of Bronco Stadium in Boise, Idaho, which happens to be the hometown of the filmmaker, Matthew Barney. Overhead, two Goodyear Blimps hover gracefully, echoing the way airships are often used to air live events on TV. Accompanied by a subtle background score that mimics the gentle drone of engines, four attentive air hostesses attend to the inside of each blimp. Watch Cremaster 1 here!
