Curse of the Pink Panther

In “Curse of the Pink Panther” (1983), the famous Inspector Clouseau mysteriously vanishes, prompting the Surete to seek out the second most capable detective to find him. However, Clouseau’s adversary, Dreyfus, interferes with the Surete’s computer system, resulting in the selection of the least competent detective, NYPD Sergeant Clifton Sleigh. In a manner reminiscent of Clouseau himself, Sleigh clumsily navigates through obstacles of assassins and corrupt officials as if he were Clouseau’s American counterpart.
