Dans la cour

Antoine, a musician in his forties, unexpectedly chooses to end his musical career and soon finds himself taking a job as a janitor. He works at an older building in eastern Paris, where he meets Mathilde, a generous, active young retiree who is deeply involved in association activities and caring for the condominium. One night, Mathilde notices a worrying crack in her living room wall, and her anxiety about the building’s safety gradually spirals into panic. Over time, Antoine and Mathilde, despite their initial fears and concerns, develop an unusual but supportive friendship filled with humor. Together, their clumsy partnership might just help them weather this difficult situation. Dans la cour (2014) is available for streaming.
