Dark Rising

A tranquil weekend camping excursion takes a thrilling turn as it quickly transforms into a desperate struggle against supernatural forces when an ancient demon and a fierce female warrior drag their age-old conflict into the modern world. Jason Parks, hoping to rekindle his romance with his ex-fiancée Jasmine, organizes the trip with her, his best friend Ricky, and their witchcraft-enthusiast friend Renee. Unbeknownst to Jason, Jasmine has developed a romantic interest in Renee rather than reigniting her past relationship with him. Meanwhile, Renee is plagued by disturbing dreams about Summer Vale, a girl who mysteriously disappeared two decades ago. When Renee attempts to commune with Summer’s spirit, she accidentally opens a dimensional portal, unleashing a terrifying demon. Luckily for the campers, the grown-up, sword-wielding Summer comes through the portal to combat the malevolent creature. The movie “Dark Rising (2007)” is an adventure.
