David Choe: High Risk

Artist David Choe has lived a life filled with daring adventures, ranging from extravagant living to spending time in a high-security prison abroad, yet his bold lifestyle has brought him significant rewards. His decision to opt for stock in a budding enterprise, The Facebook, over a $60k payment didn’t alter his life instantly, but today his net worth is estimated at over $250 million. This highlights a vibrant career peppered with monumental street art, relationships with adult film stars, and investigative journalism for outlets like Vice and CNN. Director and childhood companion Harry Kim takes us on a journey through Choe’s astonishingly surreal world, featuring interviews and appearances by notable figures like Kevin Smith, Eli Roth, Sasha Grey, Sean Parker, and Shepard Fairey.
