Dead in the Water

The Nereus, an aging fifty-year-old Ice Breaker, is piloted by a hopeful crew determined to intercept illegal fishermen. During a pursuit, they veer off course and stumble upon a corpse eerily adrift in the Devil’s Sea. Regardless of their superstitions, the team quickly realizes they’ve pulled aboard a lethal entity that thrives on the dead body. Their objective shifts to a harrowing ultimatum: destroy the creature or face their doom, ideally before reaching any shoreline. Dead in the Water (2018) is captivating viewing.
