Deadline

Deadline explores the unresolved murder of a young African American in rural Alabama—a tragedy that lingered without investigation or justice for nearly two decades. This status quo shifts when Matt Harper, a Nashville Times journalist played by Steve Talley, crosses paths with a passionate young aristocrat determined to uncover the truth. Despite facing resistance from his own publisher, menacing threats from unknown sources, personal heartbreak, and his father’s battle with cancer, Harper dives headfirst into the investigation.
