Death Hunt

In the icy wilderness of 1931 Canada, an isolated trapper named Johnson chooses a solitary life in the mountains by the Yukon River. During one of his rare visits to a nearby town, he stumbles upon a vicious dogfight and intervenes, purchasing a nearly dead dog for $200, despite the owner’s objections. When the disgruntled owner, Hasel, complains to Mountie Sergeant Millen, the officer declines to intervene. However, angered by the incident, Hasel and his cohorts accuse Johnson of murder. Consequently, Sergeant Millen, though understanding of Johnson’s situation, is compelled to pursue him. Yet, Johnson is determined to resist capture at all costs.
