Amid the relentless trench warfare of World War I, a British Infantry Company finds itself cut off from its regiment following an intense skirmish. While trying to regroup, they stumble upon a seemingly destroyed German trench, deserted save for a handful of stunned German soldiers. After eliminating most of the Germans and capturing one, the British soldiers strengthen their position to await reinforcements.
