Down Periscope

Navy Lieutenant Tom Dodge, who has a history of blunders, is offered a final opportunity to redeem himself. However, Admiral Graham, who is out to see him fail, assigns him to the Stingray—a rundown submarine that’s hardly seaworthy. To make matters worse, the Stingray is designated as the enemy flagship in the forthcoming war games, and Dodge must lead a crew of misfits who are even more inept than himself.
