Dracula II: Ascension

In this gripping follow-up to “Dracula 2000,” Father Uffizi, portrayed by Jason Scott Lee, continues his relentless pursuit of vampires around the globe, using his bullwhip to decapitate them. His ultimate mission, however, is to locate Dracula, who has been identified as Judas Iscariot in the previous film, in an effort to forgive his sins against Jesus, liberate his soul, and end his cursed life. When Dracula’s severely burned remains are discovered in a New Orleans morgue, Uffizi quickly makes his way there. Entrusted with examining the body, medical students Liz Blaine, played by Diane Neal, and Luke, portrayed by Jason London, uncover an unusual revelation when they find the liver and other organs unnaturally pale, suggesting, as Luke speculates, that the body’s blood was sourced externally, pointing to vampirism.
