Dreaming of a Jewish Christmas

This unique and unconventional musical documentary showcases the remarkable journey of Jewish songwriters, such as Irving Berlin, Mel Tormé, Jay Livingston, Ray Evans, Gloria Shayne Baker, and Johnny Marks, who composed music for the most musical holiday of Christianity. It’s a fascinating narrative about these immigrant outsiders who emerged as essential figures in popular culture, using the spirit of Christmas to envision an ideal world and, if only for a day, make us all believers.
