Earthly Possessions

A restless wife, dissatisfied with her life alongside her clergyman husband, finds herself inadvertently embroiled in a bank heist as a hostage. Instead of fear, she experiences a rush of excitement, which leads her to assist the youthful robber in evading capture. As their adventure unfolds, she discovers that his motive for the crime was to secure funds to free his expectant girlfriend from a shelter for unwed mothers. Although they share a fleeting romantic spark, it becomes apparent that the wife is mostly in search of thrilling escapades to break the monotony of her existence.
