Eat

Novella McClure is like many aspiring actresses in Los Angeles: she’s in her early thirties, her once-trendy pseudonym has lost its charm over the years, and she hasn’t secured a role in three years. Additionally, she’s developed a troubling tendency to consume her own flesh. Novella frantically attempts to conceal her bizarre condition from her nurturing landlord, Eesha, and her somewhat deranged best friend, Candice, yet her mental and physical states continue to decline amidst a bleak life filled with failed auditions and shady nightclubs. The big question is whether a romance with her psychiatrist might save her from self-destruction or if her destructive habit will persist and consume her entirely. Watch “Eat (2014)” now.
