Mario is a respected and admired man living in a picturesque village along the Galician coast. Serving as a nurse at the local nursing home, he is held in high regard by all the residents. When notorious drug lord Antonio Padín, recently freed from prison, finds himself at the nursing home, Mario welcomes him sincerely. Meanwhile, Padín’s sons, Kike and Toño, have taken over the family’s criminal operations. Their ill-fated drug operation lands Kike behind bars and leaves them indebted to a Colombian supplier.
