Foreign Land

In a matter of moments, Alejandro Reis, known as Alex, experiences a shocking change in his life when he learns he is not a U.S. citizen. Brought across the border as an infant by his parents, his world is turned upside down. Meanwhile, Flora Hendricks, originally from Missouri, decides to escape her life by running away. After being deported to Mexico, Alex finds himself caught in an unexpected twist of fate alongside Flora, who is arrested for shoplifting and ends up on the same deportation bus with him.
