Funny Boy

Based on Shyam Selvadurai’s 1994 novel, “Funny Boy” delves into a young boy named Arjie’s journey of discovering his sexual identity. Amidst rising political tensions between the Tamil minority and Sinhalese majority, Arjie navigates a world where his unique identity is not easily accepted by society or his family. The story beautifully captures Arjie’s quest for self-acceptance and love in an environment that often lacks empathy and understanding. Stream “Funny Boy” online right here for free.
