Gangster Squad

In the Los Angeles of 1949, Mickey Cohen, an unyielding mob boss originally from Brooklyn, calls the shots. He profits from a network involving drugs, firearms, prostitution, and aims to dominate every betting operation from Chicago to the Pacific. His dominion extends beyond hired muscle to include influence over the police and politicians, cowing even the most courageous officers — save for a clandestine group of LAPD outsiders. Led by Sgt. John O’Mara and Jerry Wooters, this brave squad sets out to dismantle Cohen’s criminal empire.
