Gin no saji

Set in the picturesque landscapes of Hokkaido, Ooejo Agricultural High School serves as a haven for students who aspire to carry on their family’s legacy in farming. Many students hail from agricultural backgrounds, ready to follow in their family’s footsteps. In contrast, Yuugo (played by Kento Nakajima), a city kid and alumnus of a prestigious middle school, enrolls at Ooejo simply for its dormitory facilities. Confronted with a world of nature and animals, Yuugo finds himself in alien territory. Unlike his peers, he is uncertain about his future career path, leading to feelings of impatience. As Yuugo navigates his new environment, he tackles daily challenges while forming bonds with classmates and embracing rural life, fostering personal growth. Watch “Gin no Saji (2014)” online here!
