Girl Interrupted

In the transformative era of the late 1960s, Susanna Kaysen embarks on what was intended as a brief respite recommended by a psychiatrist she barely knew, only to find herself on an unexpected voyage akin to Alice’s Wonderland. This new world blurs the boundaries between sanity and madness. Susanna quickly understands the challenges of leaving once institutionalized, forcing her to choose between life inside with those deemed outcasts or facing the harsh truths of the real world outside.
