Go West

Con artist S. Quentin Quale journeys westward, aiming to strike it rich, but at a train station, he’s outsmarted and robbed by the crafty brothers, Joseph and Rusty Panello. These two are also headed west with dreams of easy gold. Upon arrival, they meet the elderly miner Dan Wilson, whose land, Dead Man’s Gulch, is devoid of precious metals. The brothers generously lend him their last ten dollars, securing the deed to the seemingly worthless property as collateral. Meanwhile, young Terry Turner, enamored with Wilson’s daughter, Eva, plans to enrich Wilson by having the railroad traverse his land, potentially ending an age-old feud. However, saloon owner Red Baxter swindles the brothers out of the deed, leaving them, along with the ever-resourceful Quale, to hatch a plan to reclaim what’s rightfully theirs. “Go West (1940)” is a timeless tale of adventure and cunning.
