Grabbers

Sinister events are afoot on the tranquil shores of Erin Island, an unassuming fishing village off the coast of Ireland. As fishermen mysteriously vanish and whale carcasses begin littering the beaches, the quaint community is thrown into a state of unease. Chaos escalates when residents are attacked, leaving two unlikely police officers—an irresponsible drunkard and his rule-following mainland partner—to shield the town from colossal, bloodthirsty, tentacled extraterrestrials. In a surprising twist, they discover that their only effective weapon against these alien invaders is alcohol. So, if they want to fend off this monstrous threat, they—and the entire town—need to keep the booze flowing and stay perpetually inebriated. Watch Grabbers (2012) online.
