Half Past Dead 2

In “Half Past Dead 2 (2007),” long-time inmate Twitch, played by Kurupt, decides to transfer to a more challenging prison rather than staying at the re-opened Alcatraz. Although he claims the move is to be closer to his girlfriend, his true intentions are somewhat more ambitious. At the new prison, he encounters Burke, portrayed by Bill Goldberg, a strong and independent prisoner. Despite Twitch’s lack of muscle, he is equally as vocal and confident. As tensions rise, a gang war brews between the black and Hispanic factions, which explodes into chaos when the black gang’s leader is murdered. Burke is wrongfully blamed, but the real chaos begins when the true killer, Hispanic leader Cortez, kidnaps Twitch’s girlfriend and Burke’s daughter.
