Hart’s War

Colonel William McNamara, a fourth-generation Army officer, finds himself locked away in a harsh German POW camp during World War II. Despite his captivity, he remains the highest-ranking American officer and thus holds the responsibility of maintaining the morale and sense of honor among his fellow prisoners, even under the watchful gaze of the seasoned Luftwaffe officer, Colonel Wilhelm Visser. Steadfast in his determination to continue his battle against the enemy, McNamara quietly waits for the perfect opportunity to turn the tables. When a murder occurs in the camp, McNamara seizes the chance to execute a daring plan. He uses the ensuing court martial to divert Visser’s attention, secretly orchestrating a plot to sabotage a local munitions factory with the unknowing assistance of young Lieutenant Tommy Hart. Driven by a sense of duty and heroism, McNamara, together with his men, undertakes the perilous mission, contemplating whether to sacrifice his own life for the greater good of his nation.
