Heaven Can Wait

Joe Pendleton, a quarterback on the brink of leading his team to the Super Bowl, finds himself abruptly snatched away due to a celestial error. A hasty decision by an angel brings Joe to the afterlife, only to discover that his time to pass on hasn’t actually come, and his earthly body is already cremated, leaving him stranded without a form. To correct this mistake, he is placed into the body of a recently deceased millionaire, whose corrupt wife and accountant—his murderers—are bewildered by his sudden return to life and unexpected decisions, like acquiring the L.A. Rams to quarterback his former team to victory once more. Heaven Can Wait (1978) is a nostalgic classic. Watch Heaven Can Wait (1978) streaming online on cineby and 123Movies, all for free.
