Heritage Falls

Charlie Fitzpatrick has earned the title of the most victorious high school basketball coach in Georgia’s history. Despite his players viewing him as a paternal figure, his bond with his own son, Evan, a book enthusiast, remains tense. With support from his wife, Laura, and Evan’s spouse, Heather, Charlie decides the ultimate method to strengthen their relationship is to take a trip to a secluded mountain cabin with Evan and his grandson, Markie. The plan is for a weekend retreat, just as Markie reveals his intention to leave college to go on tour with his folk band. Coincidentally, this cabin is where Charlie challenged his victorious teams on a tough military-style obstacle course, one that Evan never completed as a student. This weekend, Charlie sees as an adventurous escape, while Evan perceives it as a nightmare and Markie, the young idealist, is just ready to embrace whatever comes his way.
