Honeybunnies

Finnish director Maarit Lalli unveils a story about contrasting personalities in “Honeybunnies (2017).” Ricky Kalin, portrayed by Antti Luusuaniemi, is a real estate agent with a penchant for women, while Pihla Viitala plays Annika Lahti, a private detective not particularly adept in her profession. Annika’s niche lies in her expertise in navigating tangled relationships, albeit not very skillfully. Ricky is an exceptional salesman juggling two calendars: one for work and the other dedicated to women. When Annika’s latest assignment brings her into collision with Ricky, everything changes. The meeting takes place in an apartment where Annika is straightforward about her intentions—she desires an emotionless physical relationship, which suits Ricky perfectly. Their working dynamic revolves around a mutually beneficial agreement that sustains itself until their relationship hits a notorious sixth turning point. The film suggests that there are few things as captivating to watch as the delicate dance of human relationships. Watch “Honeybunnies (2017)” online for free right here on cineby or 123Movies.
