Imperial Blue

Hugo Winter is a notorious American drug smuggler who sets out on a journey to Uganda, aiming to transport a significant quantity of Bulu, a mystical herb that offers users glimpses into their future. Once in Kampala, he realizes his mission’s success depends on the aid of two sisters with conflicting motives: the devoutly religious Kisakye and the defiant Angela, both from the isolated village of Makaana where the Bulu is cultivated. As they guide Hugo deeper into the wilderness and their schemes, it becomes uncertain whether his drug-induced visions are aiding or hindering his objectives. Watch “Imperial Blue (2019)” online.
