Inescapable

A quarter of a century ago, Adib (portrayed by Alexander Siddig, known for Syriana and Cairo Time), once an up-and-coming officer in the Syrian military police, mysteriously fled Damascus under questionable circumstances. Leaving behind his true love, Fatima (played by Marisa Tomei, famous for her roles in The Wrestler and The Ides of March), he started anew in Canada, marrying a wonderful woman and building a life with two adult daughters and a successful career in Toronto. However, his well-constructed facade is threatened when his daughter, Muna, vanishes in Damascus, forcing Adib to face the tumultuous past he believed he had left behind. As he partners with a Canadian emissary (Joshua Jackson from Fringe), Adib is plunged back into the chaos he once escaped from to rescue Muna. Stream Inescapable (2012) today!
