Isla bonita

Set on the picturesque island of Menorca, “Isla Bonita” unfolds during a vibrant summer. Olivia, a young woman disillusioned by her rapidly changing romantic life, ends an affair in hopes of forging a meaningful relationship, only to face another heartbreak. Her mother, Nuria, a sculptor, provides solace and practical guidance. When retired advertisement filmmaker Fernando rents their guesthouse, new dynamics are introduced. Their relationship evolves as Olivia views him as a fatherly figure, while Fernando is romantically drawn to Nuria. “ISLA BONITA” is a delightful comedic gem filled with charming mix-ups and serves as a beautiful tribute to Menorca’s serene allure.
