Jaanwar

In the film “Jaanwar” (1999), Sultan (Shakti Kapoor) takes in an orphan, naming him Badshah (Akshay Kumar), who later becomes entangled in a life of crime. Inspector Pradhan (Ashish Vidyarthi) continually poses obstacles for Badshah, whose only confidant is his partner-in-crime Abdul (Ashutosh Rana). The light in Badshah’s turbulent life is Sapna (Karisma Kapoor), a woman he meets by chance. However, when Badshah gets involved in a public murder, he finds himself on the run after a child unexpectedly clings to him, and he entrusts the child to Sapna. Just as he’s about to clarify the situation, Inspector Pradhan appears, forcing Badshah to flee. Reimagining himself as Babu Lohar, he becomes a blacksmith and a devoted father, determined to provide the child with a promising future. After seven years, old faces like Abdul and Sultan cross his path again, while Inspector Pradhan remains relentless in his pursuit. As the child’s biological parents come forward, pleading for their child’s return, Babu faces a heart-wrenching decision. Watch “Jaanwar” right here.
