Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart

In the chilling winter of 1874 Scotland, Jack’s life begins under the harshest conditions imaginable. Born on history’s most frigid day, his tiny heart ceases to beat. Thankfully, an inventive midwife in Edinburgh steps in, substituting his heart with a clock to grant him a chance at life. Under her watchful eye, he continues to grow, but with strict limitations—anger or excitement could threaten his ticking heart’s function. Even more daunting is the realization that he must never fall in love, which poses an even greater risk to his mechanical heart. You can watch “Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart (2013)” here!
