John Light

This gripping and realistic prison drama stars newcomer Michael Ochotorena as John Light, deemed one of the most perilous inmates in Arizona’s State Penitentiary. Astonishing both guards and fellow prisoners, John embraces Christianity through a prison Bible study. Once released, he eagerly sets out to share his newfound faith with those on the outside. However, his intimidating appearance makes it challenging for him to connect with those unfamiliar with his transformation. John’s journey is supported by a gentle Christian mentor, Matt Garrett, portrayed by Michael Sigler, and his straightforward parole officer played by Dean Cain. Together with men unacquainted with violence, John fights for acceptance and understanding. John Light (2019) is available to stream.
