Joint Security Area

In the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that divides North and South Korea, a significant incident unfolds as two North Korean soldiers are reportedly shot by a South Korean soldier. However, the evidence discovered raises suspicions: 11 bullets are found in the victims, and 5 bullets remain in the suspect’s magazine, suggesting an anomaly since the gun’s capacity is typically 15 bullets. This discrepancy leads the neutral Swiss/Swedish investigative team to hypothesize the involvement of an unidentified party, hinting at a potential cover-up. However, the actual story is not as complex, yet carries a profound tragedy. For a gripping experience, watch Joint Security Area (2000) streaming online.
