Julie

Julie is a budding tennis prodigy who finds herself drawn to her coach, driven by her desire for love and a longing to break free from her father’s ambitions for her life. Birgitte Hjort Sørensen captures the inner turmoil of this complex, vulnerable character, while Rolf Hansen embodies the coach striving to shield Julie from life’s harsh realities. With Jesper Christensen as the driven, debt-ridden father, Trine Appel playing the coach’s disapproving fiancée, and Niels Skousen featuring as the owner of a nightclub, “Julie” serves as a contemporary reimagining of August Strindberg’s “Miss Julie.” Julie (2011) awaits your watching pleasure.
