Late Bloomers

Louise is a directionless 28-year-old living in Brooklyn, navigating life after a recent breakup. She’s a casual musician in denial about her depression until a drunken mishap leaves her with a broken hip. As a result, she finds herself in a physical therapy unit surrounded by much older patients, including Antonina, a grouchy Polish senior with no English language skills. When Louise takes a job as Antonina’s caretaker, both women must confront the reality of aging and the inevitability of growing up.
