Le bossu

In the 1997 film “Le bossu,” the devious Comte de Gonzague plots against his cousin, the Duc de Nevers, despite being the duke’s rightful heir. The Count harbors a secret: the Duke has a newborn child, born out of wedlock. When the Duke discovers his child’s existence, he travels to marry the child’s mother, who is a baron’s daughter living at an isolated chateau. Tragically, the Count and his men ambush the castle, killing its inhabitants. The only survivors are a master swordsman named Lagardère, a close friend of the Duke, and the Duke’s infant daughter, who now holds claim to her father’s immense wealth. Presumed drowned by the Count, Lagardère and the girl are cleverly hidden by a group of Italian performers.

Two decades later, the Count learns of their survival and seeks their demise. However, Lagardère, cleverly disguised as a hunchback, wins the trust of the Count and becomes employed as his bookkeeper. To watch “Le bossu” online, you’re in the right place.
