Let the Fire Burn

Jason Osder’s first feature film, “Let the Fire Burn,” offers a detailed and fair portrayal of the events surrounding the 1985 confrontation between the radical African-American group MOVE and Philadelphia officials. This intense conflict resulted in the loss of eleven lives and caused significant destruction to a community, both physically and emotionally. The film unfolds like a Wild West saga where differentiating heroes from villains isn’t as simple as black or white. Watch it here.
