Life Is Sweet

In a suburban area just north of London resides a vibrant family: Wendy, Andy, and their twin daughters, Natalie and Nicola. Wendy juggles roles with flair—working in a shop, leading aerobics, cracking jokes that would make a vaudevillian proud, and waitressing at a friend’s fledgling restaurant, all while showing immense affection for Andy, a cook who perpetually delays tackling home improvement projects. Alongside a tipsy friend, Andy makes a spontaneous decision and invests in a dilapidated mobile food truck. The spirited Natalie, sporting short, immaculate hair and a lighthearted wit, works as a plumber and has a holiday in America on her schedule, but not much else planned. Meanwhile, Nicola feels out of place: she sports a perpetual scowl, big glasses, disheveled hair, and restless hands, grapples with bulimia, is jobless, and deeply unhappy. The film delves into how the family navigates the tumult of personal conflicts while nurturing their bonds of love. *Life Is Sweet (1990) is available to stream here.* Catch its captivating exploration of familial dynamics right now! *For those interested in watching Life Is Sweet (1990) online, the film can be enjoyed for free on cineby and 123Movies.*
