Listen Up Philip

Philip finds himself filled with frustration as the release of his second novel looms. Overwhelmed by the incessant hustle and bustle of his city life, his faltering relationship with his photographer girlfriend Ashley, and his lack of enthusiasm for marketing his book, he feels increasingly alienated. The opportunity for tranquility arises when his mentor, Ike Zimmerman, invites him to retreat to his secluded summer house, allowing Philip the solace he needs to concentrate on his favorite subject—himself.
