Los lunes al sol

Following the closure of their shipyard in Northern Spain, a tight-knit group of former workers—Santa, José, Lino, Amador, Sergei, and Reina—attempt to maintain their friendship. They frequently gather at a bar run by their former coworker Rico. Santa exudes a façade of confidence and has become the group’s unofficial leader, although he faces legal issues over smashing a shipyard lamp during protests. José struggles with bitterness as his wife, Ana, is the one employed while he remains jobless, fearing she might leave him for a colleague. Despite suffering from arthritis, Ana perseveres through night shifts at a fish factory, feeling as if she’s lost her beauty—though not everyone agrees, including her boss. Lino is an older family man futilely applying for jobs beyond his skills. Meanwhile, Amador, the oldest, has succumbs to alcoholism after his wife left him, clinging to the illusion that she will soon return from vacation. *Los lunes al sol* is streaming for free.
