Makom be-gan eden

“Makom be-gan eden (2013)” unfolds with a young officer returning to his base following a daring mission. An envious cook’s assistant, a devout Holocaust survivor, admires him, believing the brave officer has earned a spot in heaven for risking his life for his Jewish community. Despite this, the officer is a secular non-believer, motivated instead by hunger, and agrees to transfer his place in heaven to the cook in exchange for a plate of shaksuka. Fast forward forty years to the present, and we find the once valiant officer transformed into a retired general on his deathbed. His son, who has found religion—a development that horrifies his secular father—faces a race against time. He must locate the cook’s assistant and annul the contract made so many years ago, or else his father risks damnation. Don’t miss out on this intriguing film. “Makom be-gan eden (2013)” is available to watch online for free. Enjoy streaming it on cineby and 123Movies directly from this site.
