Marie and the Misfits

“Marie is not to be trifled with,” Antoine cautions. Nonetheless, Siméon cannot resist abandoning everything—or rather, the modest life he had—to pursue her in secret. His roommate Oscar, a musician prone to sleepwalking, along with Antoine, a novelist struggling with writer’s block, soon join him on this unexpected quest. They all find themselves on the fringes of the world, specifically on a remote island. Their bond may be rooted in something inexplicable, possibly a shared appetite for adventure. Or perhaps it’s their yearning for a little magic and romance in their otherwise mundane lives.
