Medea

Medea (1988) offers a compelling reimagining of the classic Greek tragedy, where divine intervention is notably absent. This adaptation centers around Medea, who once supported Jason on the Argonauts’ expedition, even going so far as to sacrifice her own brother for his success. Despite her dedication, Jason ultimately betrays her by planning to marry the Corinthian king’s daughter. Perceiving Medea as a threat to his daughter’s happiness, the king decides to banish her. However, Medea pleads for just one more day within the city limits, which she cunningly plans to use for her revenge. Stream it now.
