Mighty Aphrodite

In the film “Mighty Aphrodite” (1995), Lenny becomes intrigued by his adopted son’s extraordinary intelligence and sets out on a mission to discover the boy’s biological mother. Expecting her to be a genius as well, Lenny is surprised to find Linda Ash, a compassionate woman working as a prostitute and porn star. Determined to steer her onto a new path, he takes it upon himself to change her way of life. Throughout the film, a Greek chorus humorously connects the narrative to myths from ancient Greece.
