Mutants

The unscrupulous Braylon is the head of Just Rite Sugar Company, and he’s enlisted the services of the dubious scientist Sergei to concoct a sugar more addictive than heroin or nicotine to boost his profits. Sergei conducts experiments on the invisible fringes of society—beggars, addicts, and undocumented people—inside the secretive Shadow Rock Mill. When Braylon’s team accidentally abducts Ryan, the brother of Braylon’s secretary, Erin, and the son of security chief Griff, Ryan becomes an essential uncontaminated test subject. Mysterious emails from “Cinderella” reach Erin, showing Ryan’s picture and implying he might be at Shadow Rock. She joins forces with her father to rescue Ryan. Mutants (2008) is a thrilling story.
