My Dad’s Christmas Date

It’s Christmas time in the picturesque city of York, where Jules, a 16-year-old, and her father, David, find their home nestled amid the seasonal decorations. Their relationship mirrors that of many fathers and teenage daughters: he finds it difficult to fully understand her, and she often chooses to keep her distance. David’s attempts to be part of her life are met with Jules’ desire for independence. Yet amid these typical challenges, they share a deep connection through their shared pain from the loss of Jules’ mother, who died in a car crash two years ago. As they navigate their grief, Jules draws on joyful memories of her mother to take charge of their situation. Watch “My Dad’s Christmas Date (2020)” for free.
